From 19 to 22 September, 2006, Mr. David Briggs, President of Precise Time and
Frequency, Inc., USA, visited our IEM KVARZ.
During this
visit, deliveries of some
IEM KVARZ
products were negotiated.

International Industrial Forum took place in Nizhny Novgorod.
The IEM "Kvarz" presented its
exposition at the Forum.

2006
By Decree No.154-p of the Government of the Russian Federation dated 7
February 2006, the Institute of Electronic Measurements KVARZ was given a
status of a federal
scientific and production center.


January
2006
Mark M. Leifer, Department Manager of the IEM KVARZ, has become a winner of
the All-Russia contest “Engineer
2005".
He has been rewarded with a diploma and
a memorable medal.

In January, the IEM KVARZ delivered the CH1-75A
Active Hydrogen Maser to Max-Planck-Institut fur Quantenoptik (Germany).
In 2005, the Institute delivered its products to Korea, Japan,
France, Germany, Finland, Latvia, Belgium, China, Australia,
Sweden.
December 2005
The automated complex for autonomous metrological service of the space
facilities
was delivered to the Cosmodrome in the town of Plesezk.
In December, the enterprise
won the tender and effected delivery of the Hydrogen Masers to Latvia.
In December, the IEM KVARZ made deliveries of the following products:
-mm-Wave Synthesizer was delivered to Finland as a component of a
system developed in collaboration with the Institute for Physics of
Microstructures of the Russian Academy of Sciences;
- the CH1-75A Active Hydrogen Maser was delivered to Royal Observatory of
Belgium.
On 22 December, a delegation from Italy visited the Institute
in order to discuss the possibility of delivery of KVARZ mm-wave products
and time and frequency instruments to Italy.
At the beginning of December, General Director
A. Kudryavtsev and Department Manager N. Demidov
were invited to and attended the Workshop on “Time and Frequency Services
with GALILEO” , which was held in Germany and was dedicated to the application
of the instruments in the
European Satellite Navigation System GALILEO.
