The Institute of Electronic Measurements (IEM) KVARZ, founded in 1949, is the largest scientific centre in Russia for development and production of radioelectronic measurement equipment. By Decree No.154-p of the Government of the Russian Federation dated

7 February 2006, the Institute of Electronic Measurements KVARZ  was given

a status of a  federal  scientific and production center.

The IEM KVARZ products - precise high tech instruments for scientific investigations and resolving metrological problems – meet the international requirements.

IEM KVARZ develops and produces the following products:

  • time and frequency standards with the highest frequency stability:                          active and passive masers,

  • miniature Rb frequency standards and reference quartz oscillators;

  • microwave and mm-wave products: signal generators, frequency synthesizers, microwave  accessories;

  • receiving and analyzing instrumentation in the frequency range from several hertz    to hundreds of gigahertz;

  • optical measurement devices for fiber-optics communication systems;

  • automated measurement systems, including those based on VXI Bus.

The Institute performs operations over the whole life cycle of a product created (experimental and engineering development, small-scale production,  equipping of facilities and maintenance and service during operation, modernization of the products).

The product quality is ensured by modern technological equipment

and is based on the Russian  ГОСТ РИСО 9001-2001 quality
